The idea for the company came to EPS' founder, Vicky Abbott, when she was working full-time in London and trying to bring on a youngster to compete at the same time. She was never there when the farrier came and found it difficult to discuss her horse's needs with him via third parties. On another occasion she wanted to try a certain brand of feed that was newly imported to the UK but the closest stockist was an hour away and it was a long time before she could find a time to get there just to buy two sacks due to storage space limitations.

It occurred to Vicky that there were other people out there in exactly the same situation, many of whom also have other commitments too such as children. It seemed a shame that so many combinations never reached their goals simply because of a lack of time and on-hand advice. Vicky felt that there was a need for a service that was as flexible and reliable as possible, and was not limited in what it could offer different people. The idea of the EPS Angel was born! Whilst some may need help with the exercise of their horses during the week, others may need someone to help pack their lorry before competitions, check that their jacket is clean and their stock ironed, and yet others may need a particular product sourcing for them. What ever you need help with, EPS Angels will do their very best to meet your needs.
