About EPS
The aim of EPS is really very simple: to help you maximize your time with your horse(s). You tell us what you need doing, and we'll do our utmost to make it happen. It can be anything, from riding (all sorts, including problem solving, exercising, schooling on, and competing), to helping you with all aspects of attracting a sponsor, and everything in between. This includes, but isn't limited to, show preparation, ‘traditional' grooming, admin work, personal shopping, hand-holding, being there when the vet comes……. When you decide to hire EPS you are charged a flat fee, with petrol on top, no matter what the activity.

Founder Vicky Abbott has been involved with horses from a very early age, and has had the good fortune to have had many in all shapes and sizes, some of which have been homebreds. She lived in Belgium for most of her formative years, where she competed in all three major disciplines. She has been based in England since 2001, the year she competed for GB at the Junior European Championships in eventing with her home-produced Selle Francais Fabuleux du Fief. The combination went on to be placed consistently in Advanced one-day events and at CCI*** events. In 2003 the combination were heading to Badminton when unfortunately the horse sustained a career-ending injury, but it is a testament to his training and careful management during 12 months box-rest that he is now out winning points at BD Elementary Open classes with a new rider. She also produced a notoriously difficult mare, Deconometrie, to Advanced level too between 2003 and 2005. She is now focussing on By Crikey II, a fourth-generation homebred gelding who is 5 this year. She has had the good fortune to learn from many eminent trainers, including Gill Watson, Ian Stark, David Broome, Jennie Loriston-Clarke, Di Lampard, Nigel Taylor, Yogi Breisner, and more. In addition she has worked for other people with their horses and there are references on the testimonials page.

From this experience she has developed a sensible, no-nonsense approach which has helped her with many horses. She can turn-out to a high standard and has a wealth of practical experience when faced with problems, whether to do with riding, handling or stable management. She has also worked in both sales and marketing and often brings a fresh approach to ‘paperwork' and promotion problems! She also has a full HGV licence, and is a sympathetic horse lorry driver. She occasionally uses ‘satellite' angels, and these are all experienced at what they do, and clients will be fully informed when these are used.
